Hello everyone! As you probably know (or have learned from my posts), I tend to only subscribe to Glossybox when there's special edition boxes. So of course when I heard about the Pop Art Edition box for October I just had to resubscribe, it would be unacceptable not to do so! This months box is definitely eyecatching, it is beautiful! There's 4 different coloured boxes on offer this month and as you can see, I got the Green lid. I wasn't overly bothered when it came down to what colour box would I prefer to be honest, they all look amazing. I'd love to have all 4 and put the lids together then put it in a frame, I think it'd look cool. I'm definitely going to keep this box as I do with all the special boxes, I'll find a storage use for it somehow.

Nuxe Crème Fraîche® de Beauté Mask (full size)
"A 24hr moisturising mask which hydrates and soothes the skin, instantly reducing discomfort or redness. Skin is left looking radiant and relaxed."
I've never used a product like this before, I don't really have a skin care routine and I know that's pretty bad and probably explains why I have such bad dry skin on my face. It says on the back of the tube that you should leave this product on your face and eye contour area for 10 minutes, then gently massage any excess product in with your fingertips or remove it using toner and you should use this once or twice a week. I'm quite excited to try this to be honest, if it's meant to hydrate and sooth my skin hopefully I'm on to a winner with this! This product is full size and costs £19.50 for 50ml.

So Susan Flutter Mascara (full size)
"An intense carbon-black mascara formulated with hyaluronic spheres to help you achieve the darkest, curviest lashes possible."
When I first saw this product I was quite neutral about it, I don't mind mascara and I believe they don't come in wrong really. I've tried this on my lashes just before writing this post and it weirdly enough made my eyes start stinging and I've no idea why 'cause this has never happened to me before. I'm not a big fan of how much product comes out on the brush, it's quite gloopy in my opinion and I really do not like that but that's just me being picky I think. It didn't make my lashes curvy or voluminous, in fact all it did was coat them with product that took a little longer than normal to dry. I'll most likely ask my mum if she wants this 'cause I think she's ran out of mascara. This is full size and retails at £14.95.

Être Belle Liplift Peel (full size)
"Get replenished and defined lips in an instant with this moisturising lip exfoliator. The gentle formula removes dead cells refining the skin’s surface for perfectly soft lips."
I've tried this and I absolutely hate it. The product itself is a good one and has a nice smell to it too I just hate the fact it's a liquid lipgloss type formula with bits in, the texture knocks me a bit sick. I'm used to using pots of Lip Scrub from LUSH and I'm probably gonna stick to those. This is full size and retails at €12.95.
Rimmel BB Cream Matte
"This multitasking 9-in-1 skin perfecting makeup cream with a natural formula contains kaolin, witch hazel and salicylic acid for a flawless matte look"
Ok, we have a product I strongly dislike. I don't get on with Rimmel's face products if they have any form of colour in them because they always without fail make me look orange due to my very fair skin tone. I saw this sample in my box in the shade light and I thought to myself "okay, I'll give this a go" a thought I instantly took back once I opened it. This product came without a security seal (my worst nightmare) so of course upon opening it was one big mess. As a result of that I've instantly placed this in my bin. This was an 8ml sample and it's £6.99 for 30ml.
Ciaté Paint Pot (full size)
"Enjoy a pop of colour with Ciaté’s stunningly beautiful and intensely pigmented Paint Pot. Part of a range currently boasting 88 head-turning and trend-setting shades."
I like Ciaté nail polish I really do, but not enough to spend my money on it and have it chip within 2 days so I'm more than happy to receive these in Glossybox. This is the third paint pot I've gotten and it's in the shade Talent Scout which is a beautiful purple colour, one I'd say definitely matches with the Pop Art theme. I love this colour so so much (I've actually been looking for a Nails Inc. polish in the same colour) so I will definitely be wearing it during these cold Autumn/Winter months religiously. This is full size and retails for £9.
Yves Rocher Quelques Notes D'Amour perfume
"This scent encapsulates the feeling of falling in love through fusing notes of damascus rose, guaiac wood and patchouli."
I was quite delighted to see a perfume sample in my box this month, I wasn't so delighted once I'd smelled it. This isn't a bad sample I'll be honest, it's just not to my taste. Luckily my mum loves it so I've passed it on to her. This was a 5ml sample and it costs £33 for 30ml.

All in all this wasn't a bad box, I think I'm just overly picky. I'm very happy with the nail polish and the Nuxe face mask (which together costs to £28.50!) and I can't wait to use them both. I'm going to stay subscribed to Glossybox for a little while. They've 'upped their game' a bit I think and I'm excited to see what's in the next two boxes (especially the Christmas box).
