Getting To Know Me in 30 Questions.

I thought I'd write a different sort of post today as I've gained a few new followers and have decided to answer 30 questions to help you all get to know me a little better. I've never really opened up about my life much on this blog, and considering this is my own little corner of the internet I thought I'd take a break from the usual beauty posts and would use a few minutes to share some little pieces of me with you all.

1. What is your middle name?

My middle name is Louise. I know, so original...

2. What is your favourite color?

Pastel pink or white, but for clothing I almost always wear black.

3. Who was your first best friend?

My first best friend was a girl I met in nursery called Tanya. We were friends for a while and then things got messy in comp when she came out as bisexual and she moved schools.

4. How tall are you?

I'm 5ft 9". Sometimes a burden when I wanna wear 6 inch heels on a night out, as I tower over everyone.

5. Cats or Dogs?

Honestly, i'm quite fond of them both and whilst dogs are so loving both of my kitties are so low maintenance so I'm gonna say cats.

6. Funniest moment throughout school?

There was always so many it's hard to put my finger on one. School is one big blur to me to be honest, I've been left 7 years.

7. How many countries have you visited?

Erm I want to say 5? Australia, Italy, France, Switzerland, and  Singapore. Will be adding America to the list come October so that'll make six! I haven't explored enough of England yet to explore the world properly, there's so much I want to see and do here.

A look back on 2016

Happy new year everyone! I can't quite believe we're 2 days in to 2017, how crazy! I'm sure the years are passing us by so quickly now it's frightening. I've seen a lot of people say they couldn't wait to see the back of 2016 and that it was a horrible year for them but I've had some really good experiences in the last year so before I say goodbye to 2016 for good I'd like to have a look back on 9 that stand out most.

I can't believe we're on to the last day of 2016, this year has gone far too fast! I'm currently sat on the sofa at Ry's with his mum and dad watching films and eating takeaway, so having a quiet new year this year. Last year I made a post with some goals for this year so I thought it'd be good to take a look back at them and see how I did in achieving them. 

Christmas Throwback.

Can you believe it's already day 8 of blogmas? I'm surprised I've kept up with it so far to be honest, but that could change as I'm off on my travels on the 12th and won't be back home until the 20th! So fingers crossed this scheduled post malarky works out, or blogmas will have failed 12 days in. Today is Thursday so I thought why not do a Throwback Thursday post, but Christmas edition? 

Christmas Films: My Top Picks.

It's finally the time of year where all the Christmas films are on Sky movies and Netflix and honestly I am thrilled. I love nothing more than sitting on the sofa wrapped in a throw and scoffing a tin of Roses or Quality Street watching Christmas films, especially when the weather is rubbish. I've already watched three or four this year and we're 7 days in to December, not bad going!

1. What is your favourite Christmas movie?

My all time fave is a toss up between Elf, Miracle on 34th Street, and Arthur Christmas.

2. Will you be on the naughty list or the nice list?

Definitely the nice list! 

3. Where do you usually spend your holidays?

Usually at my boyfriend's house with him and his family. I go there on Christmas eve for picky tea, then I go on Christmas day and have my dinner there (after I've seen my family on the morning) and usually stay overnight and then go to his grandparents or aunties house for boxing day tea. My mum has always gone to her sisters house for dinner, she (my auntie) doesn't speak to me or my brothers, reckons we haven't done enough for ourselves to deserve to be spoken to, so that's why I go to Ry's now instead of being on my own.
