It's nearing the end of October and that means Halloween is almost upon us (8 days to go!) and I couldn't be more excited. I popped in to LUSH at the weekend to pick up some of the Halloween goodies they have on offer. They don't seem to have gone that far out this year which is a bit of a shame but nevertheless, few things are better than none. I picked up 3 of 4 products. There's 3 sized bottles of Lord of Misrule shower cream to choose from and I chose the smallest bottle of 100g. It's a beautiful spring green shade and luckily does not stain your skin. Lord of Misrule bath bomb is a green coloured bomb and turns your water forest green then into a gorgeous deep wine colour. They pair together wonderfully due to them sharing the same scent of Patchouli and Black Pepper (and of course the same name). Nightwing is a shower jelly and is shaped like a bat which I quite like, I find it fun. It's scented with aloe vera and limes and the lime definitely comes through, like a fruit pastille, it smells delicious and almost good enough to eat! The final bath product I haven't picked up but since I purchased it last year I will mention it. Sparkly Pumpkin is a super cute pumpkin shaped bubble bar, covered in glitter, and smells exactly to me like Irn Bru. Although it says it smells of juniper berry, lime, and grapefruit, that translates to my nostrils as Irn Bru. You just crumble it under the running water and it creates a lovely orange, glittery, Irn Bru fruity smelling bath. I can't imagine the Halloween products being around for much longer so if I were you I'd pick them up soon!
Disney on Ice.
Thursday, 15 October 2015

On Friday my inner 5 year old was lucky enough to go and see Disney on Ice at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle with my mum and boy was I excited. We attended the 4pm showing and got there around half 3. We entered the foyer and went straight to merch/food stalls for a browse. I got a snow cone which came in the cutest cup with The Little Mermaid on and it even came with an Olaf straw (see my IG), and we each got some Candy Floss with a tiara (which I wore all night). This doesn't sound like much but it came to a whopping £26 and I really do feel for the parents who were there with 2+ kids 'cause they'll have spent a bloody fortune! The show consisted of 4 stories based on their films: Toy Story 3, The Little Mermaid, Cars, and Frozen. All 4 were fab and Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy helped all 4 link up by introducing them. My favourites were definitely The Little Mermaid and Frozen. The only thing that upset me was there was no Sven for Frozen! Poor reindeer being left out (*sad face*). The skaters were so professional (obvs) and it was just so good. At first I thought it was gonna be a bit boring like Dancing on Ice but it was so so amazing, every single person taking part in the performance was crazy talented and I've never seen anything that good before, I couldn't take my eyes off them! I think I enjoyed it more than the little kids surrounding me, I didn't want it to end. If you haven't seen it and there's shows soon I urge you to buy tickets if there's some left, you will not regret it. I can't wait for it to return next year and I will definitely be purchasing tickets. Absolutely fab show.
My Top 10 Disney/Pixar Films
Wednesday, 7 October 2015
On Friday I'm going to see Disney on Ice for the first time ever and I'm very very excited and as a result my life is a little more Disney-fied than usual (is that possible?!). I thought I'd write a little post of my top 10 Disney/Pixar films. This was really difficult to narrow down 'cause I don't have a Disney/Pixar film I dislike but I got there in the end! If you've got any on your top 10 that aren't on mine leave a comment below. Enjoy!
