Hello everyone! As most of you may know I am obsessed with LUSH. I love almost everything they stock and I wish I had an endless supply of money so that I could buy it all! LUSH has recently gotten all of their Christmas and Halloween products in stock and I have, of course, gone mad and bought 1 of almost everything (uh oh). I only went in for a bottle of Snow Fairy and I've ended up with a rather large haul so please stand by for a very long post. (Apologies!)
Snow Fairy (shower gel)
"Add some Christmas sparkle to your day with this candy-sweet shower gel. Snow Fairy is back again this year, bringing its fairy dust magic into your shower, now with the addition of skin-softening seaweed."
This is definitely the staple of all the Christmas products in my opinion. It wouldn't be Christmas without this super sweet smelling shower gel! It's darker in colour this year, it doesn't look 'washed out' like it has in previous years and I like that. The bottle says this smells of Candy Floss but I think it smells more like a sweet bubblegum than candy floss. Not complaining though 'cause it smells wonderful. It makes me sad that this is only around for a couple of months each year, I need an endless supply.
Butterbear (bath ballistic)
"Cocoa butter creates a creamy soft bath that is great for nourishing and protecting your skin, with the same vanilla-like fragrance as Butterball bath bomb. Moulded into a friendly and sweet-smelling bear, this is sure to be a winner with little and big kids alike!"
This little fella is butterbear. He's absolutely adorable and just a cuter version of the butterball ballistic which is available all year round. This smells strongly of vanilla, mmm. I can't wait to use this in my bath and have my skin be super soft. I hate to admit it but the only thing that even made me buy this is the fact it's shaped like a super cute bear! I'm such a child.

Candy Mountain (bubble bar)
"Make bath time an even sweeter time with this pink peak of a bubble bar. Crumble this under running water for mountains of glistening bubbles topped with a magical pink mist. The candy scent wafting through the steam includes Fair Trade vanilla absolute, wrapping you in a comforting embrace. If you like the fragrance of our Rock Star soap and Creamy Candy bubble bar, you're in for a treat."
Sweet scented Christmas item number 2. Candy Mountain smells a lot like The Comforter to me (are my smells off?) Either way it smells amazing. Not as sickly sweet as Snow Fairy but sweet all the same. There's so many sweet smelling products at LUSH and they all smell so similar that it's hard to pinpoint which it smells like 'cause it's mixture of a few. And of course since this is a Christmas product, there is glitter! This product is a bubble bar so you just crumble it under the running water and it creates lots of wonderful bubbles! Also turns your bath water a beautiful colour of pink.

Cinders (bath ballistic)
"Heat up your holidays with this sweet and spicy bomb inspired by fireside gatherings with family and friends. We combine crackling vegan popping candy with stimulating cinnamon leaf oil to recreate the warmth of the hearth. With a bath so inviting, you can skip the open fire and curl up with this fizzer instead."
I love the warmth that's in this scent and I tend to use this more in Autumn as a lead up to Christmas bath bomb. If it wasn't for the fact it smells so amazing I probably wouldn't buy this as I'm not too fond of the yellow shade this turns my bath water. That aside, the smell is wonderful. This ballistic also has the addition of popping candy!

Dashing Santa (bath ballistic)
"Make a dash for this moving Santa bath bomb with a cheerful and uplifting scent of satsumas at Christmas. Watch Santa fly about your bath as his golden boots fizz away, releasing toning mandarin oil, bergamot oil and orange flower absolute that help put a spring in your step, too."
This is a new product for Christmas 2014. The excitement of it being new obviously got to me 'cause I've bought 4 of these and I dunno if I even like them yet! I haven't tried this in my bath yet but I've read/heard that he literally dashes around your tub, how true that is I dunno but I'll soon find out. I'm going to aim to keep Dashing Santa unused until it hits December. I love the scent of this, it smells of oranges but not super strongly, it's one of those 'just right' smells. It's scent is similar to that of Golden Wonder ballistic. I thought this looked really cute too and you'll learn from this post that that is the main reason I buy most of the Christmas products, their cuteness!

Father Christmas (bath ballistic)
"A festive bath bomb to bring Santa's presence into the bath. Once you pop this jolly bomb in your bath, it turns your water from bright red to vivid green. This year, Father Christmas will fill your bathroom with the popular sweet scent of Snow Fairy. All we want for Christmas is this Santa, baby!"
Father Christmas ballistic is back for another year, this time though with a scent change to Snow Fairy and I couldn't be happier! The more Snow Fairy smelling products the better in my opinion. The only thing that would make this better is if they filled him with red glitter again like the original. This ballistic changes your water to a nice bright red at first and then once you hit the center it changes to a lovely Christmas green! I'm of course going to try and save this second Santa for December.

Golden Wonder (bath ballistic)
"If you're wondering what's inside this golden bath bomb, give it a shake and drop it in the bath to reveal its glittering contents. Soak in its soft citrus fragrance as the vibrant gifts inside unveil themselves and make you feel as if you're bathing in luxury. The uplifting blend of sweet orange, lime and cognac oils will leave you feeling cheerful."
Say hello to my ultimate favourite Christmas ballistic ever, Golden Wonder. I don't wanna spoil anything for anyone but this ballistic makes your water look like mermaid water once it's all dissolved. Let me explain. If you shake this ballistic it rattles and that's because inside there's another ballistic. This inside section is a beautiful turquoise colour, if you add that to the gold lustre once it's all dissolved you are left with what I like to call, mermaid water! I love it so so much. This ballistic honestly does make me so ridiculously happy.

The Christmas Hedgehog (bubble bar)
"If you're feeling prickly this festive season, indulge in a soak with this softening bubble bar made with organic shea and cocoa butters as well as soothing essential oils. Crumble under running water and unfurl in the silky waters as the rose absolute and ylang ylang essential oil get to work on frosty moods."
I'm gonna be honest and put it out there that I have absolutely no idea what a hedgehog has got to do with Christmas but I'm just gonna go with it. I went out to get this 'cause I thought it'd be adorable but honestly most of these look absolutely horrifying and not cute at all. Luckily, mine is rather cute, hooray for adorable blue hedgehogs! I'm not sure how I feel about the scent of this I'm really undecided. It reminds me a little bit of when the smell of bonfire clings to you, I'm not sure how but I slightly get that scent from this. It's quite fruity but floral at the same time and I think that is what's causing me confusion. At least it's going to make my skin super soft even if I dislike the smell!

Holly Golightly (bubble bar)
"Come on in out of the cold and wrap yourself up in this comforting Christmas blanket of a bubble bar. Break the generously-sized pudding into two and crumble under running water. Its festive spice fragrance is like bathing in a hot toddy, perfect for getting you in the Christmas spirit."
Oh lord, I'm honestly not sure where to even begin with this one! Holly Golightly is a beautiful bubble bar and smells exactly like Christmas to me. It's quite large so depending on the amount of bubbles you like to have in your bath I'd say you can get 3/4 baths out of this. I find this very pleasing on the eye too. I'm not sure if you can see because mine is quite heavily coated in silver glitter (no complaints) but this bubble bar is a beautiful forest/Christmas green underneath said glitter so of course that's the colour it'll turn your bath water! I'm really excited to try this, I love products that smell like Hot Toddy they're perfect for the Autumn/Winter months. This is the first of the three Christmas products that smell of Hot Toddy.

Hot Toddy (shower gel)
"With all the spice of a Christmas market, this deep red shimmering shower gel is sure to blow away the bah humbugs. Laced with softening seaweed, fresh ginger, cinnamon leaf oil and cleansing lemon oil, this will warm up even the chilliest of days and bring a sparkle to your shower."
The second of three Christmas products that smell of Hot Toddy. I hate to say it, I really do, but I think I might love this more than I love Snow Fairy. I've just got this thing about spiced scents in Autumn and Winter, I just love it. This smells exactly like the Holly Golightly bubble bar so you could, if you wish, pair them together! I'm going to use this next time I bath (much to my boyfriend's dismay as he hates spiced scents) and I'll smell all Autumnal and in my opinion, wonderful.

Snow Fairy Sparkle (massage/sparkle bar)
"Wave a magic wand over your bare bits with this magical sparkle bar to reveal shimmering, soft and sweet smelling skin. Made with organic shea, murmuru and cupuaƧu butters, the bar gently melts as you sweep it over your skin to leave it velvety-soft and shimmering in the light."
Snow Fairy Sparkle was introduced to the Christmas range last year and I'm glad to see she's returned this year so I can finally try her out. This of course smells like Snow Fairy and is also shaped like a fairy, very Christmassy! This is a massage/sparkle bar so you're meant to squeeze this in your hand (turning it to mush basically) and then you rub it all over your body. I don't have any intentions of using this as a massage bar though, I don't really want to be covered in glitter so I'm probably going to use this as a bath melt instead.

Melting Snowman (bath melt)
"Warm up on cold days with this comforting Christmas spice-scented bath melt that helps you shake off festive fatigue. Made with enriching almond oil and cocoa butter, this is the only snowman you'll enjoy watching melt away, leaving behind nothing but soft skin. Drop into your bath water and enjoy the warming essential oil blend that's like bathing in a hot toddy."
This is my favourite bath melt from the Christmas range and it's also the cheapest! This was introduced to the Christmas range in 2012 and has always been my favourite. I stock up on these every year (for £2.25 each how can you not?!) and use them from October right up until February. This bath melt shares the same Hot Toddy fragrance and the Hot Toddy shower gel and also Holly Golightly bubble bar making it the third and final Hot Toddy product (so you could pair all 3 together if you really wanted too and go all out on the Hot Toddy scent!). This is pretty basic, it doesn't make your water all bright and doesn't 'put on a show'. It just slowly dissolves and turns your water slightly cloudy but it's still a winner.
Luxury Lush Pud (bath ballistic)
"Unwind (or calm down excited children) with this soothing bath bomb. Perfect before bedtime, drop this in the bath and watch it create pastel-coloured islands in the pink water as it fizzes and froths. Sharing its fragrance with Twilight bath bomb, the comforting tonka absolute, ylang ylang, and relaxing lavender oils will help banish tension."
Although Luxury Lush Pud was brought out last year, it's had a revamp this year. It's main colour is no longer a dark purple and is instead a beautiful bright pink so you just know that with the added circles of colour around it, this will be a feast for your eyes once popped in the water. This smells exactly like Twilight ballistic from the main collection and I don't think that's a bad thing as it's quite a relaxing and Autumnal scent.

So White (bath ballistic)
"Be the fairest of them all with this apple-scented bath bomb that's as pure as the driven snow. As it dissolves, enveloping you in a white mist with a crisp and delicate fragrance, its rosy centre reveals itself. The bergamot oil and rose absolute will help you feel calm and peaceful, while neroli oil and orange flower absolute will revive your (Christmas) spirit."
So White is as basic as it gets. If you buy your bath products based on how aesthetically pleasing they are then you probably won't purchase this 'cause it won't catch your eye at all. It's boring and it's white. However, there is a pink centre but still with the addition of that it's still pretty basic. This ballistic smells of apples, so could be used all year round as it's not a spiced Apple scent it's a fresh Apple scent.

Star Light, Star Bright (bath melt)
"A lime and ginger-scented bath filled with light, lustre and a shea butter fondant centre. Crush this shimmering star under running water and watch as your bath turns a deep, calming turquoise and the silvery sparkle spreads to create a magical, shimmering trail of starlight. Organic shea butter and extra virgin coconut oil leave your skin feeling soft, while the zesty ginger, lavender and lime oil fragrance inspires imagination and positivity. Go ahead: make a wish upon this star."
I didn't try this last year so when I saw it had returned I had to snap it up! This smells quite citrussy and reminds me of the 'You've Been Mangoed' bath melt. It's covered in silver glitter and it does come off really easily in your hand. I've read that this is apparently quite messy in the bath but I'm not put off by that. In fact I'm very excited to try this and see just how soft it'll make my skin feel.

Wizard (bubble bar)
"Cast a Jingle Spell over weariness with this shimmering bubble bar that makes bath time magic. With energising tangerine oil and purifying juniperberry and fennel essential oils, the Wizard banishes stress and helps you recover. Perfect for those occasions when you've over-indulged, the Wizard will disappear after Halloween, so grab enough to see you through the party season."
This bubble bar is brand new for Halloween 2014! This is the second product where I'm unsure how I feel about the scent as it is a mixture of fruity and floral. At the moment I'm quite neutral because the scent of this is quite weak, so surely it'll get weaker once placed in the bath. I'm a fan of quite strong scents so that disappoints me a little but I'm sure it'll work wonders on making my skin feel super soft so all is forgiven. Also find this Wizard guy cute somehow.

Christmas Eve (bubble bar)
"Get ready for the big day with this calming and softening bubble bar. Crumble the crescent moon-shaped bar under running water and relax as its soothing colours and scents reveal themselves. Irish moss powder turns the water silky, while seductive jasmine absolute and uplifting ylang ylang essentail oil combine to create an elegant perfume that's perfect for a moonlight serenade."
I find this to be a nice calming floral scent, it's not a really in your face scent compared to the other products I tend to buy and I like that with this one. I wish there was a product in the main line that smells like this but then I suppose it's not necessary because there's plenty of other relaxing and soothing products. I'm going to aim to keep this for Christmas Eve, but we'll see!

Northern Lights (bath ballistic)
"Escape into relaxation with this bath bomb that gives an impressive display no matter where you are in the world. As the ends fizz away, the middle slowly dissolves to reveal blue and neon green, turning your water into a calming jasmine and ylang ylang-scented swirling night sky scattered with stars."
Sparkler (bath ballistic)
"A crackling and fizzing Rose Jam-scented bath bomb that makes bath night fireworks night. The soothingly-fragranced bomb fizzes and crackles in an explosion of colour, spinning around the bath turning it into a fiery, shimmering display."
I've tried both of these and I prefer Northern Lights over Sparkler. I dislike everything about Sparkler, the smell, the colour and what it does in my bath water I just didn't find it pleasant at all and I won't be repurchasing this. Northern Lights however, I LOVE. I love the smell, the colour, the colour it changes my bath water (there's yellow and blue in each end so it's a nice display of colours) and the cute little stars it disperses in to my bath. Northern Lights is a 10 out of 10.

The Christmas Penguin (bubble bar)
"Pop in The Christmas Penguin for a mood-boosting bubble bath that will set you up for the festivities. The beautiful blend of orange flower absolute, Sicilian mandarin and lemon oils will revive and refresh your mind and skin. Crumble under running water to create bubbly glaciers and snow drifts."
Gonna just be honest and put it out there that the only reason I bought this is because it's an adorable penguin. I saw this last year and never bothered purchasing it so I thought I'd give it a go this year, as with a lot of the products I've purchased this year. This is floral scented and I'm excited to see how many bubbles this will produce. I've read that this makes it a bit 'like velvet' when getting in to the bath, I'm curious to find out if that really is the case.

Sparkly Pumpkin (bubble bar)
"Have a ball in the bath with this warming and cheerful bubble bar that adds a bit of sparkle to a cold night. The energising blend of juniperberry, lime and grapefruit oils packs a punch. Perfect for a long, lingering soak, just make sure you get out of your bath by midnight..."
This is definitely one of my favourite seasonal products this year, and that's based on the scent and nothing more. The best way for me to describe this scent is Irn Bru, who doesn't love the scent of Irn Bru?! If LUSH don't make a product with this scent in for the main line I might go crazy so I should probably stock up big time on these just to be safe. Please don't let the glitter coating put you off buying this, and just let the smell draw you in it's worth it.

Shoot For The Stars (bath ballistic)
"Paint the swirling colours of the night sky over the surface of your bathwater with this multi-coloured bath bomb. Drop this in your bathwater and watch it shoot around the bath releasing multiple colours before leaving a trail of quicksilver. As the spinning and swirling orb comes to a standstill, enjoy the sweet scent found in Honey I Washed The Kids and the calming, shimmering midnight blue water."
This is another product that was out last year and I never purchased so did this year. This smells exactly like 'Honey I Washed The Kids' soap and apparently puts on quite a display of colours which I can't wait to see. I read somewhere that this is meant to release little stars and that sounds so cute so I hope that's true!

Snow Angel (bath melt)
"This moisturising bath melt dissolves into a flurry of snow, blanketing the bath in white foam before revealing a shimmering golden glow. Rich in hydrating cocoa butter and blend of rose, benzoin and cassie absolute, this has a comforting light floral and delicate marzipan scent."
I absolutely love the scent of this, it is plain and simply Marzipan and it smells good enough to eat. This smells like Snow Cake soap so you could pair the two together. This product is a nice change from the typical LUSH Christmas candy scents and the spicy scents and it's definitely the perfect scent for Christmas.

So White (shower gel)
"A crisp apple shower gel to leave you feeling the fairest of them all. This creamy, shimmering wash is made with cleansing fresh apple and cyder vinegar as well as soothing rose water to leave you feeling fresh and soft. This contains organic rose absolute and bergamot essential oil to help clear the mind and leave you feeling as pure as the driven snow."
This is basically the shower gel version of the ballistic of the same name. The only difference is that I feel this smells a lot stronger of fresh apples and I prefer this over the ballistic. This in my opinion could be a shower gel for all year round because it just smells fresh and is one of those products you know will have you feeling clean and refreshed, if that makes sense. I really do hope this becomes permanent and not just for Christmas because I think this would be lovely to have in the Spring.
