Yesterday my boyfriend presented me with an early Christmas present in return for the one I gave him on Sunday night. He gave me the present and as I began to unwrap it he told me "there's two in there" and I couldn't for the life of me think what was wrapped up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover two lip balms! I've never heard of 'Lip Shit' lip balm before (what a name), but I sure do now and I'm very pleased that I've been introduced. My boyfriend bought me two flavours: Grapefruit Rosehip and Raspberry Lemongrass. Grapefruit Rosehip smells exactly like green Starburst sweets whilst Raspberry Lemongrass smells like a Drumstick lolly, both very pleasant scents. Both of these balms contain: 23% Beeswax to nourish and protect, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Flavor, Lanolin, Vitamin E, Organic Comfrey Leaf Extract, Rosemary Extract. I've tried both of these balms and they both have the same sweet citrus type flavour to them when applied to the lips and I'm not sure if that's because of the beeswax or something else but either way it's not something that I mind. I love the packaging of these, each one comes in a little silver tin with a different sticker on the lid for each flavour and I just get a real retro vibe from them. I don't mind the fact that these are packaged in small tins. I hand sanitize constantly so hand bacteria getting in to my lip balm isn't a worry for me although I know this can be a problem for a lot of people in the beauty world. Maybe Blue Q will invent a solid stick version for those of you who don't like putting your fingers into the tins. I've had Raspberry Lemongrass on my lips for an hour and a half now and that to me is incredible for a lip balm! I can definitely see these being a product I'll use during the whole Winter season and I recommend that those of you who don't mind them being in tins to try them!
