LUSH Easter 2017

Saturday 15 April 2017

About a month or so ago I popped in to LUSH and picked up some of their Easter goodies. I really do enjoy waiting for these collections every year as I just love to see what's new and love trying new products. I should've probably posted this long before now, but I've been so busy packing lots of hours in at work for my trip to Florida in October! Anyway, on to the products.

The first product I was instantly drawn to is Flopsy Face Wash Jelly and as you can probably understand the reason why is because it's shaped like a little bunnies face, far too cute! Unlike previous shaped face jelly's this one has been made thicker so that it doesn't rip. This is infused with Fresh Carrot to cleanse, and Carrageenan Extract and Almond Oil to hydrate. Next up we have Wash Behind Your Ears shower gel, an orange coloured gel that is scented with Jasmine Absolute, Rose Oil, and Neroli oil. This is also infused with fresh carrot and contains sunflower oil for soft skin. Another product that's part of the 'carrot' theme is Bunch of Carrots bubble bar. Unlike the others this isn't infused with carrot and is citrus scented. This contains Bergamot Oil, Buchu Oil, and Sicilian Lemon oil to uplift and cleanse.
The first bath bomb I picked up is a huge ballistic called Chick 'n' Mix. This little guy splits in to two halves and has another ballistic inside so you could use it as three if you wish. It's scented with tonka absolute and bergamot oil. Next is Which Came First? ballistic, and it comes in two patterns; one pink with yellow spots and the other is pink with a sun like pattern. Scented with Sicilian lemon oil, grapefruit oil, and vanilla absolute for a citrus yet sweet scented bath. Buy One, Set One Free isn't for the easter range but it was on sale at the time I went in so thought I'd include it. This ballistic was created to raise awareness of a man called Andy Tsege who is currently on death row and has been for 1000 days and denied access to a lawyer or from speaking to his family, truly awful. All money spend on these ballistics will be given to the charity who are campaigning to remove him from death row. This ballistic is scented with Neroil oil, Jasmine absolute, and Lemongrass oil. Very floral scented but also very sweet. These are no longer available online but if there are any left in your store please do pick one up!

Returning again for another year is Golden Egg bath bomb melt and as you can see it's coated in gold lustre and I'm not exaggerating when I say it gets absolutely everywhere. Packed full of cocoa butter and olive oil for soft skin and scented with Orange oil and Bergamot oil but it smells a lot like honey I washed the kids soap to me and I have no idea why! The final product I picked up is Chocolate Easter Egg soap which is a citrus scented soap. It's packed full of extra virgin coconut oil for soft skin, vegan white chocolate, grapefruit oil, vanilla absolute, and sicilian lemon oil.

If you have anyone in your family who isn't a big chocolate lover but is a beauty fan then the products and gifts on offer for LUSH easter will be perfect for them. If you get the chance do make your way to a store soon and pick up the remaining products before they sell out!
